Is there a free Tiny Desk AI generator?
Nov 3, 2026
Short answer: the free routes give you the cut and the song, not your face in the performance. Every face swap runs on a paid AI video model, which is why generators charge per video. Here is what the free options cover and what a paid video costs.
Free ways to make it
- CapCut template: the viral cuts and the song. Your face isn't in the singing performance, so you add photos or effects on top.
- Signup credits on AI video apps: on some apps, enough for one shot. Not enough for a full clip, so you cut, stitch and add the song yourself.
- Doing it yourself: full control with any AI video model that has a reference or edit mode. Render costs apply, plus about an hour of editing.
If you want the do-it-yourself route, the tutorial covers which photos work and what to check in the result.
What a paid video costs here
| Tiny Desk AI | |
|---|---|
| First video | One credit, see pricing |
| People | 1 to 5, same price |
| Length | About 15 s |
| Quality | 720p, no watermark |
| Sound | Song included |
Packs bring the per-video price down, and credits never expire.
Why there is no free trial
Each video uses a paid model for the whole clip. Instead of a watermarked trial, a render that fails refunds its credit automatically, and unused credits can be refunded within 14 days (refund policy).
Free and pricing questions
Can I make the Tiny Desk video free with CapCut? You get the cuts and the song, not your face in the performance. A face swap needs an AI video model.
What's the cheapest way to make several? Buy a pack: the 3 and 10 video packs cost less per video, and credits never expire.
What do I get for the price? A 9:16 MP4 at 720p with the song, one to five people, no watermark, in a few minutes.
